Beginning
Diary-x has suffered a major breakdown and I have no choice but to change my blog site.
In any case, it seems that every about 3 years I will change a new blog site.
In fact, I start blogging way before blogs became trends.
In college/university, I was using Opendiary back in 1999(if I do not remember wrongly).
It was idiot-proof but when it became too popular and advertisement pops-up start to pollute that site, things start to turn for the worst. Traffic was super slow and only paid users are spared of such nonsense. I like their comments/notes function though, as it allows a lot of interaction between writers. Singaporeans made up a high percentage of bloggers there(considering our small population) Back then, I wrote more on current affairs and global issues.
I remember Zaobao even interview some bloggers from there(we are the real blogging pioneers okay?!) I was asked to be interviewed too by a journalist but I did not reply back.
I use Diary-X shortly after I start working, switching betwen English and Chinese. These days I still prefer to use Chinese as it is closer to my heart.
