Today I went for the second time to help up in the Play class for high functioning autistic/special needs kids.
Hx could not join me, it is understandable since she is often out clubbing on Friday nights and the location is rather far from her house.
There was a boy whom I first saw, he was not able to communicate with us at all. I was a bit lost on how to help out.
It turn out that he does not rather need much attention, as most of the time,he is singing and running around; and not really at risk of hurting himself or others.
I thought it was a such a sad thing as he actually has very nice facial features, and look normal like most the the kids here.
I went for a trim at Orchard Far East Plaza after helping out at the afternoon special kids arts class .
In addition, I finally bought my
asics shoes. Initially I
wanted to buy this super bright orange shoes which was $139 after discount but the
salesgal says it is a trainers for indoor/
cross training. I decide to raise my budget to get this $170(after discount) GT-2120
cushioning shoes instead. It make sense, because I believe the former
wil not even last me for half a year. It is an incentive that the model looks nice, but all running shoes are ugly in my opinion, as compared to sneakers like good old-school Converse.
I hereby announce that my current
Mizuno is going to retire from running soon, I am just trying to extend her working running life to save money.
Hx says life is becoming
increasingly meaningless, I suggest she get a boyfriend, maybe a younger one if marriage is not her type of tea. She says everyone says the same thing but there is not the root of the problem.
I also suggest
Aikido, but i doubt she is interested, none of my friends are interested anyway
haha.
Hx suggest we go jogging at M next week after the afternoon class, a favourite hangout for hardcore long distance trail runners, I am all for it.
Given a chance, I will rather do outdoor runs, but in an urban city, it is not logistically
convenient,
especially for a lone female runner in a 9-5 job.
