L tell me not to miss the chance if I can step into the "goldmine", so that I can afford better quality, more expensive biscuits for my lovely godson.

I am not really that ambitious, but this is definitely not the end of the long term career plan, it is a very good starting point though. Hx says she do not see why I cannot do this job, yes considering I am rather thickskinned as I get older. I do see the point, since I am suitable for operational jobs, I might as well get into the line that pays the most.

Tornado!

I swear I saw one outside my office building, in SINGAPORE!
Eyeopener...

My brother's PC crashed, he needs a CPU, for my case, he says I just need to reconfigurate my Windows XP. I will probably need to sponser him.

I will be meeting J on Saturday, successful Chinese teacher, something I cannot do. You need a strong character to be a teacher in Singapore, it is a crazy system.

100.3Fm, - "Anna's Closet" Radio show, although it is a bit "Aunt Agnoy" sometimes, but it is a really nice show, makes you think hard.

Will Rita accept Dexter's dark side one day?

She seem to be escaping from facing the truth, as warned by her ex-husband that Dexter is not who he really is. So who is the real monster?

The one who kills serial killer and kills and/or punish those who slip through the system of the law due to lack of evidence and pure luck?

or the Wife abuser?

Will one be able to face their dark side, their past, the shadows of the past, their real self?

有时我真的希望快快过着独住的生活,和人在一起住好累。

为了省钱,没办法,唯有强忍,睁一眼闭一眼。

Sometimes I really cannot stand by coworkers's inability to protect privacy, they want to keep things hush at one point on J's pregnancy yet talk so freely about it, so irony.

Thats is why I kept low profile here, I cannto trust anyone anyway.

Personally, I think its pretty rude to ask about people's lifesyle, and I might it clear I am not the type to spill anything even if you insist.

A coworker from the Japan office died of stoke, I only saw her months ago in a conference/forum, she is only in her mid 30s and she is a heavy smoker.

This is life, better seize the day!

Updates to the past week:

1) Study my Actuarial stuff -Boring, but I hope to make it, if not, at least keep my brain working hard.(not only my muscles and heart)

2) I went to Kinokuniya bookstore and Orchard National library with Hx after helping out at the special art class, as she wanted to borrow Chinese language Japan travel guides for her upcoming trip.

3) I end up borrowing this book- by my number one Running Idol, I only saw one copy in Borders Bookshop months ago (That copy was too battered for me to fork out so much to buy)
This runner made my running so insignificant, but also made me feel normal :)

4) My fat ratio remains at 23%, not bad but I aim to keep it to 21-22%.

5) I went jogging for both weekends and sign up for this "PassionRun" race at East Coast Park on July 8. The weather at 530 pm to 7pm after the rain was great, with the "after-rain" sweet smell of nature.

6) My new copy of Runners World came(June issue), that was a story which was quite funny:
"The Girl who Started it All- First Female runner of Boston Marathon"
http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-243-297--11735-0,00.html

7) I probably need to do a basic health check before trying out this December's 21km (My first)

8) The first night F1 race will be held in Singapore!! wow, when will there be more world class marathon here? (I heard there will be more upcoming Triathlon and Iron man events)

Today I went for the second time to help up in the Play class for high functioning autistic/special needs kids.

Hx could not join me, it is understandable since she is often out clubbing on Friday nights and the location is rather far from her house.

There was a boy whom I first saw, he was not able to communicate with us at all. I was a bit lost on how to help out.

It turn out that he does not rather need much attention, as most of the time,he is singing and running around; and not really at risk of hurting himself or others.

I thought it was a such a sad thing as he actually has very nice facial features, and look normal like most the the kids here.

I went for a trim at Orchard Far East Plaza after helping out at the afternoon special kids arts class .

In addition, I finally bought my asics shoes. Initially I wanted to buy this super bright orange shoes which was $139 after discount but the salesgal says it is a trainers for indoor/cross training. I decide to raise my budget to get this $170(after discount) GT-2120 cushioning shoes instead. It make sense, because I believe the former wil not even last me for half a year. It is an incentive that the model looks nice, but all running shoes are ugly in my opinion, as compared to sneakers like good old-school Converse.

I hereby announce that my current Mizuno is going to retire from running soon, I am just trying to extend her working running life to save money.

Hx says life is becoming increasingly meaningless, I suggest she get a boyfriend, maybe a younger one if marriage is not her type of tea. She says everyone says the same thing but there is not the root of the problem.

I also suggest Aikido, but i doubt she is interested, none of my friends are interested anyway haha.

Hx suggest we go jogging at M next week after the afternoon class, a favourite hangout for hardcore long distance trail runners, I am all for it.

Given a chance, I will rather do outdoor runs, but in an urban city, it is not logistically convenient, especially for a lone female runner in a 9-5 job.

Yesterday, it was the first time after many years that I did treadmill running again.
I stretch a while before running, although it is still tight, my left ITB still did not act up, even without my strap.

I will do the same today, its crowded there but not as bad as the public gym nd no need to queue for treadmills. My left adidas shoe's mouth opened yesterday, it needs to be fixed. It seem that shoes are not long lasting these days, not only Nike ones. This adidias shoes is waterproof, although not as comfortable as my Puma but it serves well in the recent rainy days.
